FAQ's

Q

I have tried so many different diets & exercise regimes over the years which work for a short while, but then I put the weight back on if not more than my initial start weight – what’s different about this?

A

Here at One 2 One Workouts we encourage a healthy lifestyle regime along with a high intensity training programme (everything written to your needs). With our attention to detail in monitoring each client’s progress and providing the appropriate advice and guidance throughout your time with us, we GUARANTEE your results if you do everything we tell you!

Q

I feel 30 minutes of exercise per week will not be enough – will I need to do any other exercises?

A

Doing more exercise is not necessarily better - it’s all about training effectively, which is why 30 minutes of exercise is more than enough. Your body will burn fat effectively and yet your general fitness and health will continue to improve and go from strength to strength!

Q

I have particular requirements when it comes to eating foods – does your healthy eating plan cater for this?

A

Our healthy eating plans include all food groups therefore giving your body all the vital nutrients your body needs to function properly. We have had many clients with varying degrees of requirements: vegetarians, non-vegetarians, gluten free, wheat free, allergies to certain foods etc and we have successfully designed a healthy eating plan that works for them. There is so much information out there about food and let’s face it, we all know what’s good for us and what isn’t, but here at One 2 One, we structure all that information for you into your personalised healthy eating plan, making it workable for you and we will continue to give you the advice and guidance you need in order to get the most out of your time with us.

Q

How will I know I’m achieving the results I’m looking for?

A

As part of your training programme we will weigh you once a week and you will be telling us you can see and feel the differences in yourself, that your clothes are fitting better etc. In addition you may also want to keep a record of key area body measurements e.g. hips, waist, thighs, calves etc. You will also notice that your stamina & endurance will improve too, for example you’ll be working out for longer before you get breathless.

Q

My job can be quite demanding and my work times can vary week to week, so how will my appointments be accommodated?

A

At One 2 One Workouts we have many clients who work in demanding jobs and we try our best to accommodate everyone. In the event that 2 training sessions isn’t possible in the week then we will get you in for a full 30 minute training session.

Q

Can I request for a male or female trainer?

A

Again, we try our best to accommodate your needs, however if a trainer is off sick or on holiday, then we cannot guarantee this. However, if you’ve already read our clients testimonials it is evident that we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs.

Q

Will I still need to have a consultation prior to starting? How do I book my free consultation?

A

Yes, we recommend that all clients book in for a free consultation as this allows an opportunity for the trainer to assess and review the client’s suitability to start training. Regarding booking your free consultation please either provide your contact details to us and a trainer will come back to you at the first available opportunity or you can call us directly on 0121 420 2899 to book in.

Q

As a woman, will I end up with big muscles by starting high intensity strength training?

A

No you will not get big bulging muscles, but you will get stronger and retain good muscle tone, therefore changing your body shape. If you have a high body fat percentage, initially you will feel the differences in yourself before seeing them visually. In addition, people around you will tell you they can see the differences in you and this can be the best confidence booster, especially when they’re not aware that you have started a training programme!
